Who is the Intended Audience?
I think that the intended audience for The Wall Street Journal is middle classed to upper classed middle aged men and women. Based on the fact that most articles need a subscription to be able to read said article, it already demonstrates that WSJ is more geared to people with money. Also, just by looking at the article titles, WSJ wants appear educated in that most uneducated people would not be able to comprehend. The age group is geared more to middle aged people because kids rarely keep up with the stock trade and politics, which WSJ is mainly geared towards. Elderly people would also probably keep up with WSJ because of the stock trade and WSJ writes covers a whole range of topics.
I think that internationally The Wall Street Journal is not read too much because they will have more specialized newspapers covering their situations more in depth. Also, WSJ does have a world section, but the newspaper as a whole is more geared towards the United States.
